ISLAMABAD, July 26: Pakistan's volleyball team leaves for Dubai on Thursday to take part in July 30-Aug 6 8th Rashid International volleyball tournament.

The participating teams have been placed in two groups, with UAE, Pakistan, Egypt and China in Group A and UAE (J), India, Iran and Saudia Arabia in Group B.

Pakistan will play its first match against United Arab Emirates on July 30, the second against Egypt on Aug 1 and the third against China on Aug 3. Semifinals and final will be played on Aug 5 and 6.

Secretary Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Maj Muhammad Afzal will accompany the team as manager and Sardar Muhammad Khan (assistant manager), Farooq Ahmed (coach), Rab Nawaz (coach) as officials.
