RIYADH, July 18: Foreign governments have handed over 27 wanted Saudi militants to Riyadh, a Saudi security official said on Sunday. But neither names of the accused handed over to Riyadh nor those of the countries which turned them over have been made known.

These men were in the list of persons wanted by the security authorities. It has also not been revealed that over what period these militants were handed over to the Kingdom.

According to reports, Iran has handed over some Al Qaeda wanted men to Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, a video film showing the beheading of the US captive in Riyadh last month is also circulating here.

Earlier, immediately after the killing photographs of the beheading were released, but this time the militants have released almost a two-minute footage of the episode, also indicating that they were still active and operative.

A few days ago, the US mission in Riyadh had announced that they were giving up the hunt for the body of the beheaded US captive, Paul Marshall Johnson.
