QUETTA, July 4: Leaders of the National Party have accused the government of arresting party activists.

Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, member of the executive committee of the National Party, Kachkol Baloch, who is also the leader of the opposition in the Balochistan Assembly, along with provincial president and secretary-general of the National Party, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Mir Tahir Bizenjo, claimed that a party leader, Mir Khuda Bakhsh Bizenjo, was arrested in Khuzdar district on Sunday.

The party leaders said that 85 political activists belonging to the nationalist parties had been arrested on charges of treason in various areas of the province.
