Shujaat chairs cabinet meeting

ISLAMABAD, June 30: Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain chaired the first meeting of the newly sworn-in federal cabinet on Wednesday evening. The prime minister thanked his cabinet colleagues for the trust and confidence they reposed in him.

He assured them that for the period he would be holding the reins of the government, he would discharge his responsibilities with a spirit of consultation and consensus to deliver every possible relief to the people of Pakistan.

The prime minister advised the cabinet members to review the performance of their respective ministries and come up with the proposals for welfare of the people and progress of the country. -APP
