KARACHI, June 29: The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Sindh, has accused the regime of systematically eliminating politicians in order to pave the way for presidential form of government which would suit the men in uniform.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday, former governor Mamnoon Hussain said that the murders of Munawwar Suhrawardi, Abdullah Murad, Mufti Nizamuddin Shamzai and Bin Yameen were part of the conspiracy and democratic system.

He said that the regime had made the parliament a laughing stock by its deeds and was perpetuating crisis to impose presidential form of government. He criticized the manner in which Zafarullah Jamali was removed. He said this regime had created a crisis of leadership by nominating interim and future prime ministers simultaneously.
