QUETTA June 16: The Vice-Chancellors' Council has suggested to the government to upgrade the Bolan Medical Collage Quetta to a medical university and expand its programme of courses.

The council held its meeting here on Wednesday, headed by provincial Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani who is also chairman of the council. The members reviewed progress on the various ongoing development schemes of the four universities of Balochistan.

A modern institute of Home Economics would also be set up, she said and construction of the boundary walls and work on beautification of the building was in progress.
