LAHORE, June 10: The representatives of about 20 local clubs staged a demonstration in front of the office of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) against the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) headquarters for not granting them the right to vote.

A four-member delegation comprising Shoaib Dar, Khurram Sheikh, Asim and Mansoor met the PCB chairman and apprised him about their complaints. The chairman promised that their right would be given to them.

It may be mentioned here that the LCCA has completed the first round of elections by holding it in all three zones on the old list in which some new clubs are not included. The delegation stated to the chairman that they were not accusing any club as being bogus but only wanted their genuine right of casting vote.
