CHARSADDA, June 3: Doctors and other staff at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Tangi observed a symbolic strike against Tangi Police and the political administration of Mohmand Agency.

The doctors criticized police for their delaying tactics in arresting the culprits who had stolen jewellry from the house of the acting MS. They also demanded the arrest of a criminal who had forced the family of Dr Rahim, a dental surgeon, in the said hospital to leave Mohmand Agency.

All the staff members symbolically staged their protest by wearing black strips round their arms. Tehsil Nazim Mufti Iftikhar Ahmad Khan convinced the doctors to call off their strike.

The Nazim ordered police to immediately arrest the burglars. The doctors called off their strike after police assured them that they would arrest the culprits within 15 days.
