RAWALPINDI, June 2: A person, who was injured in a clash between two groups in Gulistan Colony, died in a hospital on Wednesday, police said. Aftab Ahmed was allegedly attacked and stabbed by a man, Yasir, and his mother in a brawl between the two parties.

Police said both the parties had a quarrel over some petty issue some days ago, but the issue was settled after intervention of the notables. On Tuesday, the two parties again had a brawl during which Yasir and his mother stabbed Aftab, injuring him critically.

The injured was shifted to the District Headquarters hospital where he died on Wednesday. The alleged killers are yet to be arrested by the police. In another incident, an unidentified person was killed after being run over by a train near Taxila. The body was shifted to the DHQ hospital for postmortem.
