Girls school in Mardan upgraded

PESHAWAR, May 20: A high-level meeting upgraded Govt Girls High School, Katlang (Mardan district), to a higher secondary school status with immediate effect.

The meeting, presided over by the NWFP Education Minister Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, also decided to shift the Degree College for Boys No 2, Mardan, to the vacant building of Elementary College, and open a Degree College for Women No 2 in the building currently housing the Degree College for Boys.—PPI
