PESHAWAR, May 26: The Commander of 11th Corps, Lt-Gen Safdar Hussain, has said that foreign terrorists, motivated by their political agenda, are endangering peaceful atmosphere of Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).

Speaking at a jirga in the Mohmand region on Wednesday he asked tribesmen to be aware of foreign terrorists and local people should make a difference between friends and foes.

An ISPR Press release issued here on Wednesday said that Gen Safdar visited the region and inspected various development schemes being carried out in the area by the army.

The commander appreciated the role of the tribal areas' people for extending full support to the armymen deployed along the Afghan border. He urged tribesmen to be more vigilant and keep a vigilant eye on the activities of undesired elements.

He was informed that a 56-kilometre road track had been built, four tube-wells installed and five water supply schemes, including installation of hand-pumps, had been completed in the region.
