ISLAMABAD, May 20: Kashmiris can impress upon the world community only if they are united and reach a consensus on Kashmir issue resolution.

This was stated by the first secretary of the Iranian embassy, Syed Mohammad Omrani, at a meeting with the APHC delegation. The delegation comprised the APHC convenor, Mohammed Farooq Rehman, Abbas Rizvi, Ghulam Nabi Mir and Adeel Mushtaq.

Talking about various aspects of the Kashmir dispute and the ways for its resolution, Mr Omrani said: "Kashmiris have been expressing themselves through their sacrifices for a long time but the need of the hour is that they come up with a roadmap towards the final resolution of the dispute and the means for the resolution."

The Iranian first secretary, accompanied by the second secretary Ezetullah Hommati, noted that Iranians had full sympathy for the Kashmiris who had been sacrificing their lives for the last so many years.
