SHEIKHUPURA, May 18: A food department team on Tuesday recovered a largenumber of bags of wheat hoarded at two rice mills on Sharaqpur road.

The team, comprising district food controller Nazir Bukhari, AFC Rana Mehmood and assistant director Safdar Malik raided Shan and Zeshan rice mills, seized wheat bags and sealed the godowns.

PML-N MEN: More than 1,000 PML-N activists are still missing and it is apprehended that they might have been detained in different jails of the Punjab. This was stated by PML-N leaders Rana Tanvir Husain and Pir Binyamin Rizvi in a press conference held in Muridke on Tuesday.

They claimed that MPA Rao Jehanzeb Qavi Khan, who is also Sheikhupura district PML-N president, was in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, MPA Mehar Ishtaq Ahmad in Sahiwal and ex-MNA Inamullah Khan Niazi in Multan prisons. They said the government claims that all the activists had been released were a pack of lies.
