JACOBABAD, May 5: The Bakhshapur police on Wednesday recovered heavy ammunition and explosive material and arrested Tousif Pathan and Tariq Khan Pathan. The police team recovered a big pressure tube with a hole. During search grease was found into it.

At the bottom of it, five kalashnikovs, five TT pistols, 10 hand grenades, four time bombs, 30 packet explosive material, 250kg potassium, 12-foot-long bomb wire, 275 bullets of kalashnikovs, 75 bullets of TT pistols, and 10kg raw material for hashish were concealed.

DPO Din Mohammad Baloch told newsmen that the information was provided by agencies that heavy ammunition and explosive material were being carried from NWFP to Sindh for sabotage activities. A case was registered with the Bakhshapur police against the accused.

NAZIM: District Nazim Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani has opposed the division of the district, saying this is not in the interest of people. Talking to journalists here on Tuesday, he said that people were opposed to the district's division.
