HYDERABAD, April 22: Muttahida Qaumi Movement's zonal in charge MPA Arshad Shah has said that the main objective of his party is to resolve the problems of downtrodden people and to provide them some relief.

This was stated by him while inaugurating a road in Katcha Qila which was constructed with the MPA funds. Mr Shah said the feudal lords were only interested in protecting their own interests.

MNA Prof Khalid Wahab, MPA Aslam Parvez, a large number of MQM workers were present on the occasion. He said MQM chief Altaf Hussain was the only leader who had changed the course of political history by raising his voice against feudal class and sending middle class educated people in the legislative assemblies.

MNA Prof Khalid Wahab said the MQM did not believe in hollow slogans but in practical politics and added that Altaf Hussain and his party strived to resolve the problems of 98 per cent poor of Pakistan. Mr Aslam Parvez MPA also spoke on the occasion.

PML-Q: The vice-president of Pakistan Muslim League(Q), Sindh, Chaudhry Saifullah, has endorsed the statement of central vice-president Kabeer Ali Wasti that sincere party workers are constantly ignored by Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said the party was in complete disarray in Sindh as there had been no leadership and sincere party workers suffered from a sense of deprivation. He said that some workers had even left the party and joined PML (N).

He said that Chaudhry Shujaat had totally failed to organize the party and he would have to sacrifice his post and some one from Sindh should be appointed as the central president of the party. Chaudhry Saifullah also suggested that Senate Chairman should be from NWFP to restore the confidence of the party workers.

SIDA MD: The Government of Sindh has appointed Ali Mohammad Baloch as the managing director of the Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority.
