KARACHI, April 14: Admit cards and schedule of papers for regular candidates of HSC Annual Examination 2004 will be issued from April 20, said an official of the Board of Intermediate Education on Wednesday.

The annual examinations are scheduled to commence on April 28 for regular and private students in the city. The BIE has planned to hold the examination in two phases, added the official, explaining that examinations of Science group and Commerce group (Regular and Private) would be held in the first phase, while Humanities group examination would be conducted in the second phase.

It was learnt that science group examinations, including Pre Medical, Pre Engineering, Home Economics, and Science General would be held in the morning shift from 9am to 12noon, while regular and private candidates of Commerce group would take their examination in the afternoon shift from 2pm to 5pm.

The first phase examinations are likely to be completed by May 20, following which, after a gap of a few days, the second phase examinations would commence. The BIE officials said that college principals were being intimated about the delivery of admit cards and other examination related material and students could collect the cards and detailed schedule of examinations from their respective colleges from April 20 onwards.

The schedule of examinations and admit cards of private candidates have been dispatched to their given addresses and if they do not receive those within a few days they should contact the Board office for duplicate cards, maintained the official.
