ISLAMABAD, May 19: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-i-Azam (PML-QA) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has urged upon President Gen Pervez Musharaf to convene a national conference on the current Indo-Pakistan crisis.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Mr Hussain said it was his party’s considered opinion that the president should immediately try to bring about a national consensus on the issue.

He said the situation had provided a good opportunity to us to sink our differences and demonstrate to the world that the nation was one and united when it came to the supreme national interests.
