Chinese team to visit Pakistan

KARACHI, April 7: A high-powered Chinese delegation led by a senior minister will soon visit Pakistan to accelerate the pace of bilateral economic cooperation. This was stated by the Chinese Consul General Sun Chun Ye while addressing the members of All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA).

According to APTPMA here on Wednesday, the Chinese consul general said that Pakistan and China had agreed to attach great importance to cooperation in the field of trade. During the recent visit of Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf to China, both countries emphasizes on cooperation in textile sector.

Sun Chen Ye pointed out that his government has been supporting Chinese companies to go to Pakistan to explore the market and establish joint ventures, technical arrangement and procure Pakistani goods to expand two-way trade. - APP
