ISLAMABAD, March 23: Members of Parliament Muhammad Ijazul Haq and Babar Khan Ghauri were sworn in as federal ministers at a ceremony at the Aiwan-i-Sadr on Tuesday.

President Gen Pervez Musharraf administered the oath of office to new members of the federal cabinet, a government notification issued here on Tuesday said.

Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was also present at the ceremony, which was also attended by federal ministers, federal secretaries and senior officials. Later, the two ministers told media that they would strive to serve the country to the best of their abilities. -APP
