Bowlers reap rich harvest

LAHORE, March 15: As many as 16 wickets fell on the first day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy between Faisalabad and Peshawar at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Monday.

Three wickets each by medium-pacers Fazle Akbarand Mohammad Siddiq sent Faisalabad reeling to 171 all out with Naved Latif hitting a 69-ball 73, which included 13 fours and one six. Peshawar, in reply, were themselves in trouble at 110 for six.
