HYDERABAD, Feb 23: A group of LUMHS students held a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Monday against the alleged attempt to criminally assault a girl student of the university.

They demanded an impartial investigation into the incident and cancellation of admission of students involved in the incident. They further demanded that at least three students should be included in the inquiry committee of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.

They urged the university administration to take action against those who were instigating boycott of classes and insulting the teachers. They accused the university administration of mismanagement and maladministration.

They also accused the Sindhi press of sensationalism and appealed to it not to lose objectivity while reporting on sensitive issues.
