MITHI, Feb 20: Jobless youth of Thar who have not been able to obtain application forms from the Habib Bank branches have demanded that the date for submission of forms should be extended.

Talking to this correspondent on Thursday, Maan Singh, Koshal, Karam Ali, Miandad and others said the supply and distribution of forms was non-transparent and they could not obtain forms despite wandering for days in Digri, Mirpurkhas, Kunri, Chhor, Badin, Hyderabad and other towns.

Some candidates alleged that these forms were sold from Rs200 to Rs500 by the vested interests in connivance with bank staffers. We returned empty-handed because we could not pay a bribe to corrupt bank officials, they said.

Our Mirpurkhas Correspondent adds: The demand for application forms for jobs in the Sindh education department has increased in the district but the forms' stock at banks has exhausted. About 10,000 forms have so far been issued by Mirpurkhas and Satellite Town branches of Habib Bank.
