MANSEHRA, Feb 11: By-elections for the slots of five nazims, a naib nazim and 76 councillors of different union councils the district will be held on March 20 and 28.

The Peshawar High Court had ordered the holding of by-polls to the slots of nazims of Mansehra cityNo.1,Nikka Pani and Sher Gar union councils on March 20. The by-polls to the slots of nazims of Baffa and Malikpur union councils of Mansehra tehsil and naib nazim of Talhatta union council of Balakot tehsil would be held on March 28.

Besides, 76 vacant seats of councillors would also be filled on March 28. Those included three seats of general councillors, 33women general councillors, five peasant councillors, 32 women peasant councillors and three minority councillors.
