NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 17: Six persons died and scores of others fell sick, apparently after consuming water drawn from a particular tap, in village Malik of Moro on Thursday.

A total of 35 more affected people were admitted to the Civil Hospital, Moro where doctors were trying to diagnose the cause of the fatal disease. Samples of water were collected and sent to Karachi for laboratory test.

The deceased were identified as Masroor Channa (20), Mateen Channa (17), Neelam (17), Muhammad Aslam (20), Feroze (8) and Kulsoom (15). Many of the relatives of the deceased were under treatment at the hospital and could not attend the funerals.
