TOBA TEK SINGH, Jan 29: People belonging to various walks of life took out a protest procession on Thursday at Kamalia against MNA Riaz Fatyana and his wife Punjab Women Development Minister Begum Ashfa for not fulfilling their promise of provision of gas to Kamalia.

Makhdoom Nazar Husain and Rai Obaidullah Khan told protesters that Mr and Mrs Fatyana had announced in a public gathering many months ago that Rs50 million had been granted by the prime minister on his request to provide gas to Kamalia. But the promise has yet to be fulfilled. They also demanded lifting of ban on the transfer of property imposed by former municipal authorities in the town.
