NAWABSHAH, Jan 26: Two women and two men were killed in two separate Karo-kari incidents in Sindh during the last 48 hours ending on Monday evening. In the first incident, a married woman and a man, both teenagers were shot dead on the pretext of Karo-kari in Nango Chandio village, near Bandhi, on Monday.

Walidad Chandio shot dead his young wife Lal Pari, 19, in their house. Then he, his friends and relatives - Rehan Ali, Allah Warayo and Sono Chandio - reached the guest room of Ameer Ali Chandio, where he was asleep. They attacked Ameer, 19, and his brother Pyar Ali with axes and also opened fire on them with a pistol, killing Ameer and injuring Pyar.

JACOBABAD: The second incident occurred in Abdullah Marhato village, in Bahoo Khoso area, here on Monday. More Marhato with his accomplices, opened fire with a Kalashnikov assault rifle on Karamullah, killing him on the spot. More then went to the house of his married cousin, Zarina, wife of Dadan, shot her dead and ran away.
