RAWALPINDI: 3 dams in Pindi soon

RAWALPINDI, Jan 16: Provincial Minister for Public Health Mushtaq Kiani has said three new dams will be built in Rawalpindi to provide clean water to people in the rural and city areas.

The minister was attending a briefing of senior officers of Nespak and Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa). Mr Kiani said Rs550 million would be spent on the construction of Daducha Dam along Ling River at the outset of the new financial year.

He said the government had taken serious note of the non- implementation of Nullah Leh Project passing through Rawalpindi city and had ordered inquiry into the project.
