NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Jan 8: Thirty-seven candidates, who had passed a revenue training course eight years ago, were appointed as Tapedars on Thursday. District Nazim Masroor Jatoi handed over the joining letters to them at a ceremony held here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Nazim said the government wanted to provide jobs to youth and suggested the district government should be empowered for recruitment in different departments at the district level.

ZAKAT: Cross cheques of Rs17 million was distributed among the deserving people here on Thursday. The district Zakat and Ushr committee chairman Mian Ghous Mohammad Qureshi distributed the cheques among the deserving persons under the permanent rehabilitation scheme. The members of the committee and chairmen of local Zakat committees were also present on the occasion.
