KARACHI, Aug 30: It will be an interesting contest in the interior of Sindh because the Muttahida Qaumi Movement has put up non-Urdu-speaking candidates for the national assembly seats.

According to the MQM, from Sukkur Ali Murad Chachar has been put up for NA-198 whereas on NA-199 Mrs Zahida Abbasi and Ali Murad Chachar are nominated.

On NA-201 (Ghotki) it has put up Abdul Shakoor Soomro whereas its candidate for NA-202 are Aftab Channa and Ghulam Akbar Jatoi, who is also contesting from NA-203.

From NA-204, Larkana, Riaz Hussain is MQM’s candidate and from NA-207, Obaidullah Buledi has been nominated.

On NA-208 Abdul Jabbar Lashari and on NA-209 Syed Sikandar Shah, and NA-210 Abdul Raoof Soomro are candidates.

On NA-211 Ghulam Asghar Abbasi; NA-212 Ghulam Haider Rahoo and Abdul Fatah Abro; NA-213, Ghulam Haider Rahoo; NA-214 Shahnawaz Lakhmeer and Khalid Pirzada are contesting. NA-215 Manzoor, advocate, and on NA-216 Naeem Ahmed Cheema are their candidates.

Shabbir Hussain Bachani is contesting from NA-221, Asadullah Baloch from NA-222 and Samina Khanzada from NA-223.

On NA-224 Master Mushtaq and Asghar Ali Paryar, NA-231 Ali Nawaz Soomro, NA-232, Hussain Bux Solangi; NA-233 Raja Athar Hussain and Syed Mehar Ali Shah from NA-237.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement will also field non-Urdu speaking candidates for the seats of Sindh Assembly.
