MIRPURKHAS, Jan 23: A number of medicines smuggled from India are being reportedly sold at different medical stores in the city and other towns of the district.

Apart from this, most of the medical stores operating in various parts of the city are overcharging.

It appears as if there is no body to take notice of the situation due to which people are suffering. Talking to Dawn, a large number of people urged the authorities concerned to take action against such corrupt practices on part of the medical store owners.

Mirpurkhas EDO health Dr Khadim Hussain Lakhair said that he had also received similar complaints regarding overcharging on medicines at different medical stores in Mirpurkhas, Digri, Jhuddo and Naukot.
