18 die as pick-up falls into ravine

BUNER, Jan 13: At least 18 people were killed when a pick-up fell into a ravine in a hilly area near the border of Buner and Shangla districts on Tuesday night. An eight-year-old child was the only survivor.

Sorae union council nazim Mujahid Khan confirmed the death of 18 people and said that local people rushed to rescue the wounded, but could save only the child.

He said all those died in the accident belonged to Dankol.
