KARACHI, Jan 4: Defending champions Shahzad Mohammadan thrashed Gharib Nawaz Dalmia 7-3 in the KASB Premier League Football (PLF) match played at the CDGK Stadium on Saturday.

The one-sided affair also saw the winning team’s main striker Asghar Baloch scoring the event’s eighth hat-trick.

His four goals came in the 15th, 26th, 30th and 40th minutes.

The remaining three were scored by strikers Mohammad Baloch (65th and 89th mins) and Shahnawaz (17th min).

Meanwhile, front-runners

Zubair Ahmed (34th min), Mohammad Saeed (82nd min) and Mohammad Khalid (83rd min) scored for Gharib Nawaz.
