Thieves take away laptop, valuables

LAHORE, Jan 3: Thieves burgled the house of a trader in A-Block of Gulshan-i-Ravi on Saturday morning and took away cash, a laptop and other valuables worth thousands of rupees.

Sheikh Masood Ahmed told the police that some people entered his house by scaling the boundary wall at around 11:30am, collected Rs1,000, his son Furqan’s laptop worth over Rs50,000, some clothes and fled.

He said in spite of informing the Rescue 15 about the incident, the police have yet to register a case.

ROBBERY: Four robbers barged into the house of Malik Abdullah Mehmood in Nawab Town of Sattokatla and took away gold ornaments worth Rs200,000, four cell phones, one pistol, a Triple Two gun and a car.

Four robbers stormed into the house of Mukhtar Ahmed in Service Town in Hanjarwal and escaped after looting Rs5,000 and five tola gold ornaments.

Two robbers stopped Muhammad Ali in Township and looted Rs32,500 and a cell phone.
