Police skipper banned

LAHORE, Dec 29: Pakistan Police’s central defender and skipper Nida Mohammad has been slapped with a one-match ban for being sent off when Police lost 1-2 against Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) at Baloch Mujahid Stadium, Karachi in the opening match of Pakistan Football Federation League (Departmental Phase) 2008.

Nida was shown a yellow card in the 41st minute and was then dismissed for a second offence in the 59th minute.—Sports Reporter
