Women’s football camps begin

KARACHI, Dec 29: Women’s football camps for the Sindh and Balochistan women’s football three-match series starting in Karachi from Jan 21 commenced on Monday.

The Karachi camp at the Aga Khan University football ground is to take place thrice a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) under the supervision of Sadia Sheikh, secretary-general, Sindh Women’s Football Association (SWFA).

The camp in Hyderabad starts from Tuesday at the Sindh Sports Board ground in Qasimabad under the supervision of Ayesha Erum, regional coordinator, SWFA, with DO Hyderabad Irshad Makhdoom’s help. Around 30 to 40 girls are expected to participate.
