MULTAN, Dec 27: A milkman was killed for resisting a robbery, while a robber was gunned down and two were arrested in an encounter with police soon after the incident on Saturday morning.
Alleged robbers Rashid Buppi, Mazhar Mohana and Fayyaz killed milkman Ramzan of Folgaan Wala near Rawan Bypass when he resisted them and fled with his money and cell phone.Motorway police tried to stop the car the robbers were traveling by, but they fled. Police chased the car and an encounter ensued. In consequence, Buppi was killed and Mohana was injured. Police arrested Mohana and Fayyaz.
