Rs10 coin to be issued on Friday

KARACHI, Dec 24: The State Bank has introduced a ‘Dukhtar-i-Mashriq Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto (Shaheed) commemorative coin’ of Rs10 on the eve of her first death anniversary.

Field offices of the SBP would issue the coin through their exchange counters from Dec 26, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.

The 27.5mms diameter, 8.25gms white coin is composed of 75 per cent copper and 25 per cent nickel.

The reverse side of the coin bears portrait of Ms Bhutto, her name and the year of her birth and that of her death.—APP
