PIA to defend soccer title

KARACHI, Dec 24: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will be defending their title when the All-Pakistan NBP Challenge Cup Football Tournament kicks off here at the Colony Sports Football Ground, Malir, from Dec 26.

The event, now in its second year, has grown to 32 teams comprising departments, clubs and divisions.

The opening match will see Al Shahbaz Football Club facing Burma Mohammadan.

The tournament concludes on January 28.
