LAHORE, Dec 24: Fourteen special trains will be operated from major cities to and from Shahnawaz Bhutto station from Dec 25 to 28 to enable People’s Party workers to participate in the first death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
One special train each will leave Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Quetta, Lahore, Karachi Cantt and Nawabshah in addition to the two shuttle trains running from Sukkur and Dadu to Shahnawaz Bhutto station, a Railway spokesman said on Wednesday.
The first special train will leave Peshawar at 11am on Dec 25 to reach Shahnawaz Bhutto station through Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Khanewal and Rohri.
The second train will leave Multan on Dec 26 at 3:30pm to reach Shahnawaz station the next day at 2:45am.
The third train will leave Faisalabad on Dec 26 at
4:30pm to reach Shahnawaz Bhutto station the next day at 7:30am.
The fourth will leave Quetta on Dec 26 at 12 noon to reach Shahnawaz station the same day at 10:30pm.
The fifth will leave Lahore on Dec 26 at 12 noon to reach Shahnawaz station the next day at 4am.
The sixth will leave Karachi Cantt on Dec 26 at 11am to reach Shahnawaz station the same day at 10pm.
The seventh will depart Nawabshah on Dec 26 at 1pm to reach Shahnawaz station the same day at 9pm.
From the Shahnawaz station, the eighth special train will leave on Dec 27 at 7pm to reach Peshawar the next day at 9pm through Rohri, Khanewal, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi.
The ninth train will leave on Dec 27 at 10pm to reach Multan the next day at 9:45am.
The 10th train will leave on Dec 27 at 10pm to reach Faisalabad the next day at 11:30am.
The 11th special train will leave on Dec 28 at 1am to reach Quetta the same day at 11am.
The 12th train will leave on Dec 27 at 8pm to reach Lahore the next day at 12:45pm.
The 13th special train will leave on Dec 28 at 12:15am to reach Karachi Cantt the same day at 10am, and the 14th train will leave on Dec 27 at 9pm to reach Nawabshah the next day at 5am.
