Four militants killed

KHAR, Dec 21: Four militants were killed and three others wounded when military planes bombed suspected hideouts of militants in the Umary area of Bajaur’s Mamond tehsil on Sunday.

Officials said a number of hideouts were destroyed.

In the same locality, a bomb explosion hit a vehicle, killing its four occupants, two of them women, and injuring four others.

Local people said the deceased belonged to a displaced family who were returning to their home from a relief camp in Lower Dir.
