KARACHI, Dec 20: Mohammad Imtiaz Khan Faran was elected president and A.H. Khanzada secretary of the Karachi Press Club on Saturday. Imtiaz Faran bagged 272 votes and Khanzada 297.

Aamir Latif, Fahim Ahmed Siddiqui and Abid Hussain were elected vice-president, treasurer and joint secretary, respectively.

Those elected to the seven-member governing body of the club are: Idrees Bakhtiar, Naqeeb-ur-Rehman, Wali Rizvi, G.M. Jamali, Azhar Hussain, Noman Rafiq and Akbar Ali.
