Mine kills health official

QUETTA, Dec 18: An employee of the provincial health department was killed when a landmine exploded in Baker town on Thursday night.

Police said the landmine planted on the outskirts of the town in Dera Bugti district went off when a motorbike hit it.

The deceased was identified as Ghulam Rasool Masori Bugti.

According to another report, armed men fired rockets on the house of a pro-government tribal elder, Bahoo Khan Bugti, in Gopat area of Sui.
