Woman killed over karo-kari

JACOBABAD, Dec 18: A woman was killed by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in Babul Jakhrani village in the Mubarakpur area near Thul, Kandhkot-Kashmore district, on Thursday.

Mohammad Nawaz Banglani suspected that his wife Suhagan had illicit relations with a man in the area.

The area police took the body to a local hospital for autopsy but no case was registered till the filing of this report.

Our Dadu correspondent adds: A policeman killed his wife and injured his daughter over a domestic dispute in Madina Colony, Khairpur Nathan shah on Thursday.

Head Constable Ghulam Shabbir Chandio shot dead his wife Mujahadan and injured daughter Uzma.

The Khairpur Nathan Shah police arrested the accused.
