MULTAN, Dec 17: Federal Minister of State for Interior Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi has said not even a single Pakistani organisation, including Jamaatud Dawa, is involved in terrorism, and some people have been taken into custody only for investigation.

Talking to journalists here on Wednesday, Mr Qureshi said Pakistan wanted to solve all issues with India by holding a dialogue. “But if India will impose war on Pakistan, our armed forces are ready for it.”

He said no Pakistani citizen would be handed over to India, and if someone would be found guilty, action would be taken against him according to Pakistani laws.

“We are not cowardly, but don’t want to take any step that could disrupt peace in South Asia.” Pakistan, he said, wanted peace through dialogue and it should not be considered its weakness.

He said two new passport offices were being established, one each in Vehari and Lodhran, because the people were facing difficulties due to burden on the Multan Passport Office. A new building for the facility in Multan had been completed, he added.
