Shahbaz invites Mahars to join PML-N

SUKKUR, Dec 17: Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Khangarh, Ghotki district, on Wednesday to condole with the Mahar brothers over the death of their sister, who had died after protracted illness last month.

Mr Sharif visited Khangarh palace and met Ghotki District Nazim Ali Gohar Mahar, former Sindh chief minister Ali Mohammad Mahar and former state minister Ali Nawaz Mahar. MPA Sardar Rahim Bux Bozdar, Sukkur District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and former MPA Ahmed Yar Shar were present on the occasion.

Informed sources said that during his visit to Khangarh, Mr Sharif invited the Mahar brothers to join the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the Mahar brothers sought time to think over it.

Sources said that two days ago, Sindh PML-N president Syed Ghous Ali Shah had met with the Mahar brothers and invited them to join the party.
