Rs15 million jewellery stolen

BAHAWALNAGAR, Dec 13: Thieves took away jewellery worth Rs15 million from a jeweller’s shop on Baldia Road.

Bismillah Jewellers’ owner Haji Asif said when he opened his shop after Eid on Saturday, he found the safe and showcase broken and all the gold items missing. He claimed that the jewellery worth Rs15 million was stolen.

Meanwhile, on the call of the Sarafa Association, the shopkeepers protested against the incident and demanded early arrest of the culprits.
