Rs10m earmarked for hepatitis

JACOBABAD, Dec 11: The federal minister for health has announced Rs10 million for the treatment of hepatitis B and C patients keeping in view the rising cases in the district.

Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani made the announcement while speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of the office-bearers of the Jacobabad Press Club on Wednesday. The minister informed of arranging a team of specialists to examine hepatitis patients twice a month.

“The priority of this government is to improve the lot of people and soon I will hold a meeting with the DCO to comprehend hepatitis situation in the district”, he said.

He announced of allotting plots to journalists in Jacobabad and providing jobs to their sons on merit. The minister announced Rs15 million in this regard.
