QUETTA, Dec 3: Hundreds of special people organised a rally here on Wednesday to mark the International Day of Disabled People.

They carried placards and marched on different roads before assembling in front of the press club.

Sardar Yasin Lango, Riaz Hussain, president of Special Ones NGO which had organised the rally; and Ali Asghar in their speeches said that if encouraged by the government and civil society, special people could play an important role for country’s development.

They said the government should not consider special people a burden, but should provide them with opportunities to work for the nation.
