Four held after EDO files FIR

THATTA, Dec 3: Following registration of an FIR by EDO Education Abdul Wahab Abbasi for taking out a rally, police have arrested four clerks here on Wednesday.

A heavy contingent of police conducted raids at different places and arrested office-bearers of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Thatta chapter namely Abdul Latif Khatri, Ahmed Nawaz Pathan, Niaz Memon and Jehangir Memon.

Three of them, Abdul Latif Khatri, Ahmed Nawaz Pathan and Niaz Memon, were released on bail. Primary, secondary and mosque school teachers boycotted the academic activities in Thatta.
