MITHI, Dec 3: A court official released three men illegally detained in the lock-up of Khainsar police station of Chhachhro taluka after a raid conducted on the orders of district and sessions judge Tharparkar on Tuesday.

The raid followed an application by a relative of the detainees, Abdul Ghafoor Bajir, who accused Khainsar police of detaining three of his relatives without any crime. They had been in the lock-up for past one week.

The court appointed Moula Bux Bajir as raid commissioner who raided the police station and ordered release of Soomar, Akram and Bakhrio.
